INTERFACES: a visual dialogue
Description
INTERFACES: a visual dialogue meets half way between East and West, past an future, traditions and modernity. I was inspired by the culture of my country of origin, Tunisia, which is rich in heritage, knowledge and craftsmanship. I was also interested in the similarity in shapes and textures between traditional garments of North Africa and those worn in Asia: China, Japan, Korea... Building bridges and blurring lines between dress codes, my aim is to create something new, laid back and zen out of fusing different influences.
