Under the SoulFeast Music umbrella Brian operates as an A&R and marketing consultant as well as doing eclectic production and remixes with partner Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell. M. Bacchus still does individual artist production for various labels, indie artists and marketing entities.

Responsible for stage set up at site, backline delivery, mobile stage and sound set up, artist accomodations (food / green room), security and complete breakdown of site post-show. Liaison with Metropolitan Opera as well as various Parks Dep't personnel.

I developed the curriculum and taught 'The Business of Music for Producers' for undergraduate students majoring in Recorded Music. This 4 credit class is a prerequisite class for the Recorded Music Major with weekly assignments, a midterm exam, a final exam and one major final project. Class participation is also counted toward the final grade. Classes are 3 hours a week for 14 weeks with 1 hour of consultation each week. I stayed on staff, though inactive, until the summer of 2012.

Organized and implemented an A&R program that culminated in one of the most successful international signings in the last 20 years of the music business. Responsible for working with artists to realize their artistic vision within the appropriate recording budgets. Created budgets and contracted studios, engineers, musicians and re-mixers. Worked with film companies to procure, clear and sometimes record soundtracks that were to be picked by Blue Note/ EMI. Responsible for a varying roster of up to 38 acts. Worked with producers and artists to deliver a true artistic vision for each recording project. Accountable for delivering projects within budget and on time. Oversaw all the processes in delivering a recording to completion. Worked with high profile artists such as Cassandra Wilson, Bobby McFerrin, Joe Lovano, SouLive, Karl Denson, Jason Moran, Lena Horne and Dianne Reeves. Responsible for signing and producing Ronny Jordan. Signed & A&Red singer/songwriter Norah Jones.
