Working in my family’s restaurant gave me discipline, communication skills, respect for teamwork and the ability to manage finances at a young age: business and personal . Today, I speak often about the long-lasting effect my first job has had on me. There is a big correlation between the restaurant world and the salon world: similar service, different product. I wouldn’t be the professional I am today without the tools I acquired in my teens and early ‘20s.

Congressional Page of 100th US Congress. I worked in the Speaker’s Office reportong directly to the Speaker of the House during an exciting presidential election season. The experience as a whole served as a both character-builder and lesson-teacher: pride in being of service to my country, continuous accountability & diligence, honoring & nurturing friendships and professional relationships.
