CRSHD (Dir. Emily Cohn) Freelance
Jul 2018 – Feb 2019
Greater New York City Area
I worked with up and coming director Emily Cohn to organize and create a workflow within Davinci Resolve Studio for her feature-length film “CRSHD”. I imported Adobe Premiere XML timelines and media into Davinci and did a base color grade on over 1,000 shots that included heavy motion tracking, in-camera lighting effects, VFX, different cameras, color profiles, weather inconsistencies, varying skin tones, speed ramps, and different frame rates. With each reel, I conformed and corrected XML translation mistakes to deliver colored reels that were frame by frame consistent with the picture locked film. This film will premiere at the Tribeca Film festival in spring 2019.

Always Summer (Dir. Alexa Eve) Freelance
Jul 2018 – Jan 2019

Brought on to edit Director Alexa Eve’s Columbia graduate short film, I media managed and organized all footage and audio. I ingested the 2K Canon C300 footage (MXF files) into Prelude to transcode them into ProRes 4444 through Media Encoder. Once I brought everything into Premiere, I then created a proxy workflow to help speed up the editing process. I organized and labeled all footage and audio I was to use and create selects, rough cuts and then the fine cut. I prepped timelines by Color and Sound guidelines by onlining the footage and cleaning up audio respectively. When I received color and sound back, I assembled the footage and all audio mixes to complete the final cut of the film.
