The Editorialist LA is the one-stop shop for stylish, intelligent, and culturally-savvy young city dwellers living in L.A. -Founded my own media company in December 2014 as a local resource for Los Angeles millennials -Grew Instagram audience to almost 100k followers maintaining strong social media presence on Facebook and Pinterest -Duties include: -Operating and developing business: brand outreach, securing brand partnerships, managing finances, invoicing, hiring interns -Creative/marketing: photographing, styling, writing and editing blog and social media content. I co-founded The Blogosphere LLC as an events company that partnered with brands to create curated, live experiences for influencers. -Pitched ourselves to brands and clients, held pitch meetings, and secured brand partnerships with companies like Casper, Daniel Wellington, RxBar, Milk & Eggs, Zeel, Blushington, and more -Worked with brands to come up with unique, branded event concepts -Secured venues like OUE Skyspace -Planned branded events from A-Z, securing vendors, food, drinks, activities, photographers, and event staffing -Invited and coordinated appearance of influencers at events with hundreds of thousands to millions of followers, who interacted with brands at the event for social media coverage

I started my own fashion blog in the summer of 2011, stylebymj.blogspot.com. What began as a creative outlet morphed into a way for me to explore current trends, fashion stories, and even more. It has helped me develop my writing and photography skills, while teaching me so much about online marketing and the power of the blogosphere.
