Paige Slaughter

Ho'omana Spa Maui is a Hawaiian-owned and -operated day spa perpetuating Ancient Hawaiian ways through lomi lomi massage and transformational spa rituals. I manage content calendar and style guide to maintain consistent branding and strengthen web presence. I coordinate with advertising partners and develop strategies to increase brand awareness. I also design print ads and promotional materials, write blog posts, and create email campaigns and social media content.

The Davies Community Service Leaders program blurs the lines between Allegheny College and the greater Meadville community by engaging student leaders with local businesses and organization through project-based initiatives. My project-- Project O.N.E.-- is an initiative devoted to developing the relationship between community members and local farmers, as well as to increasing public access to fresh and healthful foods.

I frost and decorate Sibby's Cupcakery cupcakes with custom decorations. I also have experience assisting decorators (e.g. preparing frosting colors and keeping the bakery clean), answering the phone, serving customers, and various other tasks.

I planned and orchestrated various activities for children ages 4-12.

As a Community Development and Student Outreach Coordinator at Allegheny College, I create and carry out at least one program per academic semester; these are meant to educate students about LGBTQ and multicultural issues and advocate for an accepting and inclusive community.

I created a reference binder to display Allegheny College alumni who have donated to the College and their yearbook photos. I also performed other miscellaneous office duties (e.g. filing, distributing mail, etc.).
