Innovated and coordinated a Family Resource Center in a high poverty elementary school with the intention of closing the achievement gap by building capacity in children and families. Pioneered school based dental screening and tooth brushing program, improved the dental health of Kindergarten-5th graders, translating to better attendance in school and concentration in the classroom. Developed and successfully implemented an award winning After School Program for children and parents. Developed and successfully implemented an award winning Parent Involvement Program. Taught Health Education and Yoga for Kids grades kindergarden-5th.
