Magic of Persia is a UK-based charity which nurtures and develops Iranian cultural practitioners of the arts. This is accomplished by establishing initiatives promoting modern, contemporary and classical Persian art, music and media in partnership with world-class institutions. One of the charity’s most established initiatives to date is the bi-annual Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize (MOP CAP); a global search to identify the next generation of Iranian artists. Main responsibilities: Organizing and executing preparatory tasks for an exhibition preview at the Saatchi Gallery and panel discussion at the British Museum, compiling guest lists and maintaining correspondence with associates of MOP through telephone and email. Providing front of house assistance at major events hosted by Magic of Persia through administering artist catalogue sales and organizing the events guest list. Working closely with the chief executive of the foundation, taking minutes at MOP staff meetings and organizing to-do lists.
